My art journey

Multilingual, neurodiverse and part of the LGBTQI+ community 🌈

My training includes fashion, costume and design (UNSW), study under an ex-Disney artist - and a decade long graphic design career.

Nice things clients have said include “collaborative”, “friendly”, “unflappable”

Kids say “I can tell you spend a lot of time drawing!”

Mike (Marrickville) -

5 year old at a recent party -

“You’re really good at painting!”

My training includes

Extension Visual Art

I grew up observing my Dad’s painting and architecture practise. During secondary school, I applied myself to extension Visual Arts, and highlights include an Art high school exchange trip to Fukuoka, Japan

Fashion School

My school books were constantly filled with doodles, and my love of fun Japanese street fashions meant I enrolled in Apparel Design in Temasek Design School, Singapore. This included classes in Fashion Illustration, from Japanese textbooks, which I loved!

Concept Art

After about a decade in corporate and startup graphic/visual/UI design, I returned to post-tertiary study , pursuing a series of courses in Concept Art at Design Centre Enmore (TAFE), with practising animation professionals and ex-Disney staff

Design School

Following on from Fashion, I completed my Bachelors in Graphics Media at UNSW - this included first year classes with strong fundamentals in drawing.

Event Entertainment (Facepainting and balloons)

My artistic skills have been enhanced by 3 years in event services, through facepainting, ballooning and photography - mostly for kids, and sometimes adults! Client feedback consistently notes a collaborative spirit in created artwork, and postive interactions between myself and guests on the day, which I bring to every event I’m part of.
